The Chapel

Watson Homestead welcomes individuals and groups of all religious denominations, beliefs, and faiths.

Dedicated to the memory of Thomas Watson’s wife, the Jeannette Kittredge Watson Chapel inspires all who enter.  The cut stone building is located at the north end of the Main Lodge. It seats 200  and has an overflow area that can accommodate an additional 50.  A 7-foot hand-hewn wooden cross is suspended from a stone column at the back of the altar.  The chapel contains a public address system, grand piano and organ.
