Watson Homestead is a full service conference and retreat center, open year-round, serving 8000 - 10,000 guests annually.  In addition to hotel-style accommodations and meeting rooms, Watson Homestead Conference and Retreat Center has an indoor, heated swimming pool; climbing tower, historic one room schoolhouse, hiking trails, miniature golf, archery range, ball fields, covered picnic pavilion, full summer cabin area, playgrounds and a meditation labyrinth. Road Scholar: Corning's Crafts Through the Ages with Your Grandchild

Participate in the daily life of an early 19th-century frontier family while exploring the natural setting of 375-acre Watson Homestead. Participate in hands-on experiences including blacksmithing, open-hearth cooking, tin-punching, blowing a glass ornament and more. Take field trips to Watkins Glen Gorge and other sites, make art projects, wade in the creek, climb the 36-foot climbing tower, archery and much more during this Intergenerational week of fun. • Explore the Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes complex, including an Inn built in 1796, one-room schoolhouse, early 19th-century log cabin and agricultural exhibit. • Discover glassmaking past and present at the Corning Museum of Glass, with its studio, Innovation Center and hot-glass show. • At the Glenn Curtiss Museum see "Curtiss Jenny" and other early aeroplanes and make a model airplane.  (Double or triple occupancy: $1199 per adult / $699 per child, ages 8 to 12). Program can enroll up to two adults and two children per family.
